About Me

Abuse. Discrimination. Bullying.

Women. People of colour. LGBTQ+. Immigrants. Indigenous.

We've seen too much of the first happening to too many of the second, both at the individual level and at the governmental level.

I read the news and wonder why politicians (generally hard right but not always) can't seem to grasp the simple concept that for all of us to succeed we must care for everyone - not the just the people who look, sound and act like us. The world has become so divided, the US vs THEM mentality is clearer than ever before. Within the current political climate both at home and abroad, many of the strides that were made towards equality are being clawed back.

I'm here because I have a voice and it's time I used it.
