About Me

I'm Christina and I am from the Netherlands but am currently doing my PhD in Würzburg. As a master student at Utrecht University I received the Rosanna Fund. A fund set up to stimulate academic education for talented women at the University of Utrecht. Women from many different background have received this grant (Political refugees, first generation university students, young mothers etc) and we are becoming a strong community in the fight for gender inequality in academia. This incredible group of people has motivated me to take action and become a member of the Women's March community. In my opinion everyone is equal and someone's financial capacity, background or gender should not be a limiting factor for having a successful academic career.

Through this platform I hope to get in touch with likeminded women, and maybe, in the future, start my own chapter here in Würzburg :)
