“I march because I am sick of being oppressed and I am sick of the racism, sexism, homophobia, and disregard of life by the world”

About Me

I am here because I have felt for too long that I can’t make a change bigger than college. I have been told too many times that I should be silent or that I can’t do something that I put my mind to. I have felt scared for too long of men on the street following me. I have been harassed too many times, I have been treated as less then too many times. I have been told my morals are wrong and my “lifestyle” is wrong too many times. I have had to defend myself and my views too many times to ignorant people who don’t really care about me or who I am as a person only that I am following their idea of right and wrong. I am here because I am a woman with a voice that has been silent for far too long.
