My name is Luiz Gandelman. My pronouns are He/Him. I am from São Paulo, Brazil, and now live in Miami, Florida. I am proud of my identity as a Brazilian-Israeli Jew, and it is my Jewish values that motivate me to fight for true equality and equity for all around the world. I have a passion for social justice, specifically Racial, Religious, and Gender equality, as well as combating climate change. I am a strong advocate for combating hate in all of its forms, such as racism, homophobia, Antisemitism, Transphobia, and any other form of hate. I have knowledge in Climate, Macro-Economic Politics, Global Foreign Affairs, Israel/Palestine Dialogue, Middle East affairs, and National and local level politics. I am an avid scuba diver and a lover of all things nature. You can usually find me watching a Star Wars movie or eating sushi. I also speak fluent English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and am conversational in Hebrew and Japanese.
