About Me

I'm here due to the decisions being made by our government and the injustice that is happening.

I'm a female senior leader and have been in the financial Industry for over 38 years. I've worked hard to overcome obstacles along the way because I'm a female in a mans field (38 years of being one of a few women in a "Good Old Boys" club). I'm tire of being sexually harassed, being questioned about my abilities and being taken for granted. I'm tired of our current government making the most ridiculous decisions including the recent Dr. Ford/Kavanaugh issue. He is guilty, how can this happen...

In March of this year I began to have a breakdown at work, unable to function and finally determined the cause... I was having memories of what happened to me while on a business trip 3 years earlier; I was drugged and raped by a peer leader. I held this in for many years trying to forget about it. After starting therapy I was diagnosed with severe PTSD and have been on medical leave ever since.

In May 2018 after several months of therapy I was able to report what happened to my employer and the police. Due to current laws the police would not open the case since the statute of limitations had past (by 2 months). I reported as a work injury and was denied because that statute of limitations was past (1 year). This is not right. We need to get with our government officials and legislators and change the laws across the country to be the same. My rape occurred in another state; I live in WA and my assaulter lives in another. All of the laws differ so in the end he gets away with this.

I work every day to recover from this violent event so that someday I may be able to get back to work.
