Chapter-Led and Member-Led Events should be organised and run by volunteers or local nonprofits with the key mission of supporting and building a vibrant community. Every Event Chapters and Members hold should be in the spirit of Women's March Global, its objectives, and its mission.
Fundraising for Events should be a part of a Chapter’s broader fundraising strategy and be included in your budget. For example, if you are organising a Salon, you may raise money from local sponsors and individuals to cover annual operating costs and food. Again, the annual Salon budget should be included in the Chapter budget and fundraising efforts. Your fundraising efforts should only raise the anticipated costs for one year. These same guidelines apply to Member-Led Events.
