A space where women come together on a city level to create an official group, and obtain a free license to use the Women’s March (City Name) to come together to connect and create a network that has the power to convene around what is important to their community, transforming both local and global communities into a better places for all women.


Community Events are the core of the Women's March Global Platform. They enable local communities and individuals to have a voice, take action, and initiate change. Women’s March Global events include Marches, Vigils, Huddles, Salons, and Conferences, helping Chapters take action on issues related to women’s rights and each of the H.E.R.S. Framework pillars.

When you create an Account Profile, ​start a Chapter, create an Event, ​or apply for a job opportunity on​, you contribute certain information to us to facilitate your participation in our website’s activities. This includes information such as your name, contact and location information, date of birth, social media handles, resume, interests, experiences, organizational affiliations, and other information voluntarily submitted through ​​. You may opt to limit sharing of your Profile information. When you make a donation or purchase merchandise through our website, you contribute information relating to your identity, shipping address, billing address, and credit card information.

Women’s March Global does not sell, transfer, or otherwise disclose to third parties any of the personal information that we collect from users. However, when you use our website, certain features allow you to make some of your content accessible to the public or other users of our website.

Provide Services to You. We use the personal information to provide certain Services for you, including to create your account, accept new members into our community, enable community discussion, engage with our members via email, and make decisions about approving local Women’s March Chapters. We also share the information you voluntarily contribute with other Women’s March Global partners, such as country- or region-specific Chapters, to aid in recruitment and communication efforts. If at any time you decide that you no longer want to receive communications from Women’s March Global, you can opt-out by clicking UnSubscribe at the bottom of our newsletter.

Process Payments and Donations. We contract with a third party payment processing company to handle all personal and financial information related to donations to Women’s March Global and the purchase of Women’s March Global merchandise, and Women’s March Global does not retain any payment information from users.

Improve our Users’ Online Experience. We use the information collected through technology to continuously improve our website users’ experience, including collecting data through the use of Google Analytics and other services that help us understand what parts of our website are most popular and what parts need to be improved. We may use your location information to customize your website experience by modifying the language of our content. Women's March Global is a United States-based organisation. Our activities originate in the United States but we provide services around the globe. If you provide information to us in compliance with this Privacy Policy, the data is stored and retained in the United States and accessed in different locations, including locations that may have different privacy laws that are applicable. To protect your information and provide you with the best possible user experience, we put in place reasonable physical, technical, and administrative controls to maintain the security and integrity of your data. Data Retention. We retain Personal Information only as is necessary for the purpose for which the data was collected. We also keep information as otherwise required by law.
